About AR: AR is an undergraduate student at The Ohio State University studying fashion and business. Through her studies, she has developed a passion for visual storytelling and the ability of design to create unique and powerful narratives. Outside of school, AR enjoys meeting new people and connecting with her community. She loves the opportunity to make an impact on a child’s life through Future Fashion Stars and hopes to inspire the next generation to love fashion too.

About Grace: Grace is a junior at The Ohio State University studying Industrial Design with a passion for fashion, creativity and design. She loves exploring how design can influence the way people express themselves through clothing, products and other creative work. Outside of her design projects, Grace enjoys staying active, playing sports, crafting and thrifting.

About Kacee: Kacee is a fashion designer and creative from a small village in Ohio with a passion for illustration and bringing ideas to life through drawing. She loves trying new things and exploring different forms of creativity, believing that inspiration can come from anywhere. At Future Fashion Stars™, Kacee is excited to share her passion for fashion with young designers and encourage them to explore their own creativity and develop their own ideas through design.

About Arianna: Arianna is a fashion designer and educator with a passion for creativity, sustainability and self-expression. A graduate of Parsons School of Design, she loves helping young designers bring their ideas to life while encouraging them to experiment, think creatively and develop their own unique point of view.

About Camryn: Camryn is a Columbus native and a fashion student at The Ohio State University. She has several years of experience working in retail as well as experience as a summer camp cheer coach. Camryn loves working with others and bringing her energy into creative spaces. She is passionate about fashion and is excited to share that passion with the next generation of Future Fashion Stars.

Fashion Superpower: Modeling, Problem-Solving & Trend Spotting
Favorite Thing About Fashion: Bringing ideas to life.

Mariana is a recent Kent State University graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Fashion Merchandising and a minor in Marketing. With a passion for fashion, communication and creativity, she has discovered a love for teaching and mentoring the next generation of fashion professionals. This past summer, Mariana taught at Vogue College of Fashion in New York City, where she enjoyed helping students build confidence, explore their creativity and develop their own ideas. She is excited to continue combining her love of fashion and teaching through Future Fashion Stars.

Jocelyn

Fashion Design, Kent State University

Favorite Thing About Fashion: The freedom to create things outside of the norm.

Jocelyn is a Fashion Design student at Kent State University with 10 years of sewing experience and a passion for sharing her skills with others. She has spent much of her life teaching educational programs through 4-H and is excited to bring that experience into the classroom with Future Fashion Stars. Outside of fashion, Jocelyn enjoys reading and spending time with her puppy, Mila.

Tessa

Fashion Superpower: Pattern-Making
Favorite Thing About Fashion: I love the history and nuance within fashion, as well as the endless opportunities to keep learning something new. I especially enjoy sewing, pattern-making and creating fashion illustrations.

Tessa is a recent graduate of Kent State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Fashion Design. She is passionate about art, design and creating opportunities for others to explore their own creativity. Tessa looks forward to sharing her knowledge and experience while helping create a welcoming and creative learning environment for Future Fashion Stars students.

Favorite Thing About Fashion: Fashion illustration and seeing an idea come to life through my own hard work.

Mei is a second-year student at Kent State University studying Fashion Design with a minor in Drawing. As an artist and designer, she loves exploring the creative side of fashion and believes young people should have opportunities to discover a wide range of creative fields. Mei is excited to share her love of fashion design and the arts while continuing to grow as a designer herself.
